After dominating North Carolina Central 48-0 on opening night, Rutgers now have major competition, taking on North Carolina (UNC) away.

Rutgers defensive looked very impressive, starting with Duron Harmon's 2 interceptions and finishing with the defensive line (powered by Justin Francis and Scott Vallone) getting 9 sacks. But this defense has a challenege to face.

Bryn Renner, the junior starting quarterback for North Carolina was nearly perfect in completing 22 of 23 pass attempts for 277 yards adding 2 touchdowns. Bryn helped UNC move past James Madison 42-10.

While Renner had an impressive game, Rutgers offense looked pretty good for the most part. Number one recruit from New Jersey, Savon Huggins scored 2 touchdowns on just 11 carries. Chas Dodd also had a good look to Muhamed Sanu for a touchdown, 1 catch of his 7 on the day.

Both teams didn't have much of a test in their first week of action, but for both teams this game is a must win. Last game played by North Carolina and Rutgers was last year, when North Carolina beat Rutgers 17-13 with only half their starters on the field (due to suspensions).

North Carolina are the favorites, but anything can happen on Saturdays.
